The AFD Fire Prevention Bureau will confirm that your address is in our service area and that the options are appropriate and then approve your order.
The product will be shipped to Arlington Fire District Headquarters located at 11 Burnett Blvd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
The Fire Prevention Bureau will contact you to arrange a site visit to confirm installation location and key information.

Installation Guidelines
The Fire Prevention Bureau will confirm the installation location, but these are the general guidelines:
- The Knox Box should be installed on the address side of the building near the main entrance.
- The Knox Box should be installed about 5 feet above the finished floor.
- The location should be easily accessible and not blocked by landscaping or other items.

The Knox HomeBox is a small key safe designed to hold a single key that allows responders emergency access to your home.
