The Arlington Fire District is committed to ensuring the safety of our community, your home and your business. An effective tool we can use to enhance emergency response is the Knox Box Rapid Entry System – a secure, key-controlled lockbox system designed to allow fire and emergency personnel immediate access to your building in the event of an emergency.
Benefits of the Knox Box Rapid Entry System

Immediate Emergency Access
During a fire alarm, medical emergency, or other urgent situations when a building is locked, valuable minutes can be lost trying to gain entry. A Knox Box gives us rapid, non-destructive access so we can provide help immediately.
Minimizes Property Damage
Without a Knox Box, we may need to force entry—breaking doors or windows—to reach the emergency. With a Knox Box, we can access your keys safely, eliminating unnecessary damage and reducing repair costs.
Secure and Reliable
Only fire department personnel have access to the master key that opens your Knox Box. The system is tamper-resistant and trusted by thousands of departments nationwide.
Supports Business Continuity
By allowing quicker response and minimizing damage, a Knox Box helps your business get back to normal operations sooner after an incident.
